The Conundrum of Posting a Very Naughty Photo

Okay friends and neighbors, I am stuck. To post the very funny, very knit-tastic photo (that is also incredibly inappropriate) or not to post.

I will give you some clues to my dilemma.

I am throwing yet another bachelorette party in a few weeks. I am going to go ahead and give myself some props for being an outstanding bachelorette party thrower – I know no bounds. I have no fear of adult super stores, I have an entire box (hiding in my basement so Gloria never sees it) of cupcake, cake, suckers and truffle molds that are very appropriate for that sort of party. I am on good terms with at least two male strip clubs in town, I don’t drink so I can always drive and my emetophobia keeps everyone’s cars clean (I put the drunks in a cab and let them handle it).

Here is the thing. For this party, my friend has asked me to KNITΒ something for her and the rest of the party goers. I made it last night….it is staring at me from my iPod photo cache demanding to be released.

It is knitting – so there is that. But I try to not even curse on this blog, let alone posting a very naughty photo.

So friends and neighbors, any ideas?

You can make a click through picture that when clicked opens up the naughty picture so you can be all like “beware” and “open at your own risk” to take the responsibility off. You do that when you insert the picture, there’s a place to tell it what to open when it’s clicked.

Okay….how do I do that? Post a picture of a beware sign and have it link up to the picture? Do I send them to Flickr or do I have a link to the pics in my blogs media library?

Ha ha – what a conundrum – but now I need to see this picture. Can you create a NSFW page and post it there?

Yes, I think you should send it to Flickr so no one is offended. And it is a good idea to worry so that children will not see it.

I can’t imagine how anything knitted could be taken offensively…perhaps hilariously yarn-porn-y but as far as damaging the retinas of your faithful readers? I’m sure we can all handle some knitted tackle (I’m just assuming that’s what it is) and even marvel at your amazing talent & creativity! =O) Just post the dang thang already!

This post has me chuckling. Not because you’re sitting on the fence (and we all know fences are quite uncomfortable) but because I can’t get the visual out of my head. LOL. I vote for putting it on Flickr and adding a warning. Because you know if you didn’t warn people they might spit coffee all over their monitor causing a mess that they’d have to clean up. Not that I’ve ever done that before….

From what I understand, they made a change so folks could set their projects to “public” so folks without Ravelry accounts could see them. I seem to remember reading that on the main page a little bit ago.

Uh Oh! I’m a bit of a prude, so that’ll be one post of yours that I skip. :P. I’m sure it was knitted very well, however. Haha

Go for it, girl! I’m a big fan of naughty things, whether they’re knitted or edible. πŸ˜‰ If you don’t post it here, send me a link or something, so I can see it!

I think.. for the “naughty pictures” you can post it on flicker/ photobucket as a photo album.. and then create a link.. heehee.. that will be a mystery to all readers.. and if they are keen they can view the pictures on the online-photo albums.. just a suggestion.. πŸ˜€

Bachelorette party! She wanted everyone to be able to keep something. Although part if it was her trying to help my business – or lack there of πŸ™‚

can’t find the rude picture – where is it? Link please! Can’t be worse than the little pink pigs we used to knit as children – in days of innocence
